Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake (Crotalus Adamanteus)

  • The rattlesnake grows to about 66 inches in length.
  • This is the largest and possibly the most dangerous snake in the United States.
  • The Eastern Diamondback lives primarily in the southeastern portion of the state around Robeson, Bladen, Pender, Onslow, Carteret and the adjacent counties below and into South Carolina.
