What's your poisonous plant IQ?

Be safe when you're outdoors this Spring.  Some plants, and seeds and berries of plants, can hurt you if they are touched or eaten.  Here are a few poisonous plant facts:

Did you know...

  • Poison Ivy has a distinctive cluster of 3 leaflets.
  • Philodendron is a poisonous indoor plant.
  • Pokeweed and Pokeberries are poisonous outdoor plants. 

Keep indoor plants off of the ground if young children are in the home, and call Carolinas Poison Center if someone has contact with a poisonous plant: 1-800-222-1222.
