Data shows that about one out of every two Americans takes a prescription medication.  With more Americans on presecription medicines, leading busier lives than ever, it's not a far reach to see how accidental overdoses or incorrect dosings can happen.  In 2008 / 2009, 13% of calls to the Carolinas Poison Center concerned therapeutic error, which happens when the wrong dose or substance is taken.
