What types of poisonous spiders live in North Carolina?
All spiders bite and all spiders produce venom, but only two spiders in North Carolina are poisonous to humans:

• Black widow
• Brown recluse

Besides ticks, bees, hornets and wasps, North Carolina also has two types of toxic caterpillars. These caterpillars are:
